There will be times when you are working in the Kingdom of God that you will feel invisible, unnoticed or even unappreciated. Many in God’s Kingdom have even suffered violence and abuse for their beliefs and trust in him. None of these are reasons to give up on your calling. The angelic scribes record all of our deeds and one day, as the scripture says, the books will be opened and from the smallest to the greatest, we will be judged according to our deeds- our work for Him. These deeds will be tried by fire, according to the Bible. Personally, I think that part happens while you are here on earth. But those that endured (also on the earth) will be rewarded. Deeds that are done out of impure motives will receive no reward, the applause and gifts of men are the reward. But those done according to Colossians 3:23-24, as unto the Lord, will be rewarded. Don’t loose heart. The reward will be sufficient to cover every tear, long hour, agitation, misunderstanding, and sacrifice. Don’t allow anyone to take your crown. (Revelation 3:11) Work for the applause of heaven. Perform to an audience of one. Keep your eyes on the prize!. Pay day – some day!
