I believe revival is when God’s people are desperate to see Heaven come to Earth.
Revival is Repentance:
Frank Bartleman, the intercessor and journalist of the Azusa Street Revival, said, “The depth of your repentance will determine the height of your revival.”
Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of The Lord.”
Revival – Our destiny isn’t going to just happen without our partnering with God and our contending for it. Our destiny lies in the Father’s counsel, deep within His presence. It’s only then, in His presence, we can truly live out our divine callings. Our destiny is awaiting our pursuit – He promises to satisfy us and pour out His Spirit if we would become thirsty for it.
Isaiah 44:3 “ I will pour water on him who is thirsty and floods on the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit upon your descendants and blessing upon your offspring.
We are called to be a prophetic people so connected to God, that we know what He’s feeling and thinking. I read an article the other day about 2 (physical) hearts on a table. They were beating on their own until they touched. The moment they touched, they started beating with the same rhythm. However, when they were separated – they stared beating on their own again. When our hearts beat with God’s – we take on the heart of God – We become a prophetic people.
I believe we are called to have a prophetic sense of what God is doing and release it on the earth. This is the demonstration of God’s power and love on the earth. In order to do this, we have to be saturated with God’s presence and then become carriers of it. It’s means laying aside everything to get on our knees and pour out our soul on behalf of others. The cry of our hearts is for God’s presence, love goodness to flow to every person on earth.
We are called to demonstrate His nature. “As He is, so are we in this world” 1 John 4:17
