Remember when God told Jeremiah to go down to the Potters House and He would give him a word there. That was a strange place to go get a word from God. It would be like God saying, “Go to Walmart” and I will give you a word. It was common ordinary place where God illustrated a divine revelation to Jeremiah about the nation of Israel.
I had a similar experience that happened to me yesterday. I was going to get an oil change for my SUV. I have done this many times, but this was the first time the person ask me to give him my mileage before I got out of the car. I complied and when I read off the mileage I knew I had heard that number before. It is my ordination number for my ministerial license, 29172. One mile more or one mile less and it would not have been my number. When I called out the number there at “Oil Express” I heard the Spirit of God say, “it’s time for an oil change in your ministry.” I am going to do a new thing and give you a fresh anointing for this new season of ministry. Your anointing is going to be renewed and refreshed. Who knew that such a profound promise would come in such an ordinary place. So my word to you today, is always keeps your spiritual eyes and ears open. You never know when and where the Lord will speak to you.
