Church Trainer is all about encouraging and empowering pastors and church leaders. We have a lot of resources available to help build ministry teams and structures for healthy church growth. We know “healthy things grow”, so as you grow as a leader, your ministry will grow, your family will grow and God’s kingdom will grow.
Measuring your growth is the key to strategizing your growth. Many churches know how to have a big day, but without knowing how to measure their wins, many of them struggle to sustain their growth. You will hear people say, “they are just all about numbers.” People who say such things are usually speaking out of insecurity. The truth is, every number has a name. We count people because people count.
We measure the following to see how we are doing:
EXPERIENCE – We measure salvations, attendance, youth, children, nurseries
CONNECT – We measure how many guest cards we got, and how many people are in our connect track.
GROW – We measure how many people are participating in life groups.
SERVE- We measure how many people volunteer each week and also our finances.
Learning how to measure growth shows you the areas that you need to concentrate on. You may be doing great in one are but need to tool up in another area. You may also want to measure your monthly attendance and compare it to previous years. That way you won’t get discouraged when you drop a little in June. Your line graph will probably look very similar from year to year.
