Have you ever wanted to quit?  I have and I am so glad I didn’t!

In I Corinthians 15:58, the Apostle Paul writes, “Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”  Peter tells us, “Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless” (2 Peter 3:14).  And wise Solomon points out, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business?  He shall stand before kings” (Proverbs 22:29).

Determined people begin their success where most others quit.  Christians are a tough breed of people.  Just read Hebrews 11 and you’ll see how we have come through the hardest of times, but always bounce back on top.  Our DNA is one of endurance and persistence.  At the end of Hebrews 11, you’ll read this: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”  (Hebrews12:1 NIV)

It’s not what you have; it’s what you do with what you have that makes all the difference.  God has filled your life with everything you need to succeed.  Nothing bad that happens to you has taken God by surprise.  He already has a come back plan in place.  Heaven’s “Seal Team” is standing by.  Angels are waiting right now at this very minute to see what you are going to ask and trust God for in faith believing.  Stir up your faith, call out to God and wait on the rescue part to arrive.

Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me,  And delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. 6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
