Churches that are growing always share common denominators. Some are obvious like visionary leadership, great worship services and spiritual momentum. However, there are a couple of other areas that can’t be overlooked like incredible children’s ministries, excellent nursery programs and small groups. Every church that is reaching the un-churched and are attracting young families have made these areas of ministry a priority. Too many churches focus only on what goes on in the sanctuary and treat children’s ministry like baby sitting and see small groups and an extra program of the church. Growing churches know that these areas have to be excellent in order to attract and attach new young families in their community.
